The Crown Is Yours
------------------
As a Senior BackEnd Software Engineer, you’ll build the high-scale backend systems that power real-time experiences for millions. You’ll ship production-ready code from day one, owning services end-to-end and solving complex engineering challenges in a fast-moving, always-on environment. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with talented engineers, architects, and product leaders who value quality, speed, and impact. This is a role where your code ships fast, your ideas shape the future, and your growth never stalls.
What You'll Do
--------------
- Design and develop scalable event-driven systems and APIs that power high-impact applications used by a large, engaged user base around the clock.
- Deliver production-ready code from day one, driving forward new features and capabilities.
- Prioritize agility and scalability equally—supporting rapid product rollouts while ensuring systems are built to pivot and perform at scale.
- Own the full software development lifecycle, from initial design through long-term maintenance, performance tuning, and reliability improvements.
- Triage, investigate, and resolve production issues with urgency, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Ensure all components are built to withstand high volume and real-time demands, optimizing for speed and efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align technical execution with product goals, mentoring peers and driving quality standards across the team.
What You'll Bring
-----------------
- 3+ years of professional experience in object-oriented backend development using languages such as C# or Java, with deep knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, and microservices system architecture.
- Practical experience with modern messaging and event streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS Kinesis).
- Proven success designing and building scalable distributed systems in Cloud environments such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency with SQL and the ability to analyze structured event data to support debugging and validation.
- Advanced proficiency in writing and maintaining automated test suites—including unit, integration, and performance tests—for large-scale backend services.
- A demonstrated ability to mentor and grow other engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and collaborative debugging.
