  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
  • Eligibility to work on government contracts (US citizen or green card holder)

Job Details

Critical Mass is hiring for a contract Sr Business Analyst!  As our Senior Business Analyst, you will bridge business needs with digital product delivery for a large-scale client account.  You are experienced in gathering and documenting requirements in digital environments and thrive in cross-functional, collaborative settings.  You are comfortable leading meetings, translating business needs into actionable tasks, and working with both internal teams and external partners.


You Will:

  • Lead the requirements gathering, documentation, and translation of business, creative, and technical needs into actionable tasks (eg, JIRA tickets)
  • Support the launch and evolution of an AI-enabled digital product, focusing on integration of pre-curated content through AI platforms
  • Collaborate closely with content strategy, UX, creative, and development teams to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Champion and implement Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices, including leading and participating in Program Increment (PI) planning
  • Support the transition to product-centric ways of working, making data-driven recommendations based on KPIs and analytics
  • Analyze and improve business processes, ensuring alignment with client objectives and compliance standards
  • Act as a key liaison between client stakeholders, agency teams, and technical partners, facilitating effective communication and consensus
  • Ensure that requirements, testing, and documentation meet the standards necessary for compliance, security, and successful delivery

 

You Have:

  • 3–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager in digital/web development environments
  • Hands-on experience with SAFe or scaled agile methodologies and participation in PI planning
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Figma, Confluence, and analytics tools
  • Exposure to AI platform integration and digital content workflows
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make data-driven recommendations
  • Experience producing key project artifacts such as requirements documents, user stories, process flows, and test plans
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Eligibility to work on government contracts (US citizen or green card holder; able to obtain required security clearance)

This position requires candidates to obtain a Level 2 Security Clearance in accordance with U.S. government regulations. As such, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents (Green Card holders) are eligible to apply.

This is a contract position ending December 2025 and posted salary is hourly rate.

We continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position. For current CM employees, tenure will also be a consideration.

Salary Range

$70 - $80 USD
