Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions in alignment with organizational standards and best practices.
- Define and fulfill observability and alerting requirements to support operational excellence.
- Automate the deployment and maintenance of dashboards and data sources for consistent monitoring.
- Drive enterprise data strategy efforts to enhance data integrity, availability, and usability.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure that ensures observability while meeting compliance and security standards.
- Develop scripts to enhance observability platforms and address monitoring coverage gaps.
- Serve as a technical leader in cross-functional teams, fostering innovation and delivering impactful solutions.
Skills Required:
- Cloud Architecture & Observability: Extensive experience in designing observability solutions in cloud or hybrid environments, with a strong focus on best practices and security.
- Terraform & CI/CD Tools: Proficiency in infrastructure as code languages like Terraform and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions for efficient automation processes.
- Programming: Ability to write scripts using Python and utilize AWS SDK effectively.
- Kubernetes & Container-based Architectures: Familiarity with container-based architectures including Kubernetes, enhancing deployment strategies.
- Prometheus, Grafana, & Elastic Stack: Direct experience with leading observability platforms to monitor and analyze system performance efficiently.
