Senior Concept Artist

As a Senior Concept Artist, working alongside the Lead Concept Artist and Art Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of concept art to define the world we create and ensure it delights our players with the highest quality visuals that provide the settings for memorable experiences.

Key Duties Include

• You will work closely with the Lead Concept Artist and Art Director to create inspiring concept art that informs and communicates the vision for the game.
• You’ll support the Lead Concept Artist in developing the look and feel of our game's worlds, levels, and characters.
• You’ll be able to quickly generate sketches & production-ready concepts describing the new assets to the rest of the art team and wider departments.
• Managing tasks and completing work to assigned deadlines
• You will create concept art for characters, environments, and other creative assets to a senior level.
• Collaborate with Design and Environment departments to meet specified requirements

• An up-to-date portfolio that demonstrates your skills and experience
• Great understanding of anatomy, atmospherics, form, scale, composition, perspective, lighting, and colour
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mentor junior artists.
• Ability to create concept art in 3D and 2D
• Excellent proficiency with Photoshop
• Proficient experience with Blender or other 3D software
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work to assigned deadlines
• A good understanding of project scope and technical limitations of game development

Desirable

• Proficient experience with Unreal Engine 5
• Industry experience as a Concept Artist having shipped at least one AAA title
• A keen eye for detail and an appreciation for the natural world
• A keen eye for architecture and interior spaces
