Job Description
Job Description & Summary
Do you want to make a difference within the Justice and Security domain? Apply now as a Senior Consultant Justice and Security at PwC's Public Sector Transformation team and contribute to changing, improving, and strengthening cooperation within the security chain!
As a Senior Consultant, with at least three years of relevant work experience, you will work in a dynamic and inspiring environment with our clients on various societal issues facing the Justice and Security domain. You will be (in a team) responsible for parts of the implementation. These include assignments lasting several months as well as projects where you are involved for a year, both within an organization and within a chain.
We particularly invite candidates who have demonstrable experience within the Justice and Security domain, for example at the Public Prosecution Service (OM), the Ministry of Justice and Security, the National Police, the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND) or at other comparable organizations, or who have experience as an advisor within this domain.
This is what you will do
You will become part of an open, ambitious, and people-oriented team where collaboration and making a societal impact are central. Learning from each other is natural, supported by coaching and a culture where asking questions is encouraged. This is focused on concrete client questions as well as on the long-term development of ourselves and our services. We are independent professionals and are continuously connected with each other.
You advise and guide organizations and chains in the Justice and Security domain on major transformations and chain collaboration issues. You also translate policy and legislation into executable and efficient processes and help organizations to organize themselves flexibly and future-proof. You work together with public sector colleagues with extensive knowledge and experience in PwC's Justice and Security domain who, for example, deal with strategy development, organizational design, technology, change management, financial advice, and program management. A selection of the issues you will be active in as a Senior Consultant Justice and Security:
- Improving care-punishment collaboration: Chain partners want to strengthen collaboration around victims of abuse, violence, and stalking. PwC helps improve working methods and supports testing new approaches in practice.
- Strengthening the future-proofness of the justice and security domain: With multidisciplinary teams, we help organizations efficiently and effectively implement important legal and policy changes, so that these are embedded throughout the chain and employees of individual organizations can work with them.
- Optimizing existing chain working method for common crime: We analyze and improve the data-driven chain working method, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities. This way, we realize practical solutions and necessary organizational and technological adjustments for more speed and qualitative handling.
This is where you recognize yourself
You are fascinated by societal issues and the functioning of organizations and chains/networks. You want to make a societal impact and realize changes within the Justice and Security domain and want to make a difference in this. You also get energy from tackling new issues in a practical and creative way and helping organizations and chains to change, improve, and strengthen. Furthermore, you have:
- A completed master's degree in a related field, such as criminology, law, public administration, business administration, or sociology;
- Minimum three years of relevant work experience, for example as a consultant within an organization in the Justice and Security domain or as an external consultant;
- Experience with organizational and process issues, transformations, stakeholder management, and project-based work;
- Knowledge of chain processes and collaborations within Justice and Security (e.g., the Public Prosecution Service, the National Police, the IND, or another organization);
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both orally and in writing.
This is what we offer
With us, you get the chance to be yourself, get the best out of yourself in a high-performance organization, and grow within our global network. We offer you, among other things:
- A competitive salary appropriate to your experience, an annual bonus (depending on results and personal development), and the opportunity to grow;
- Challenging and meaningful client assignments, where you use leading technology such as AI tools, learn from the best, and receive support through coaching. Together, as an inclusive team, we work to make a real impact;
