What You'll Do

The Walt Disney Company and Epic Games are collaborating on an all-new games and entertainment universe. Epic Games is seeking a Senior Dev-Ops Programmer to join this team. You will innovate and push the limits to deliver the best experience possible for developers and creators, as well as problem-solving performance and stability issues, optimize workflows and more.

In this role, you will

• Designing and implementing tools and engine features to improve workflows and iteration times
• Collaborate with developers across multiple disciplines and stakeholders to optimize workflows on the Epic Build Farm
• Collaborate with QA and Build team members to optimize the projects hardware and network utilization, and ensure efficient and impactful build and test scheduling
• Optimizing, maintaining and improving the existing suite of tools
• Owning the project branch strategies and integration flow

What we're looking for

• Solid C++ skills and software engineering principles
• Experience with C#, batch files, shell script, and other scripting languages
• Experience with revision control; Perforce, Git, PlasticSCM, etc
• Experience with telemetry and connected applications a plus
• Unreal Engine and multi-platform development experience preferred but not required
• Works well in an ambiguous environment with dynamic requirements, able to take a proactive role in driving any solutions required for success
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate fluently in English
