Senior Director Engineering, Flow Capture

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Director, Software Engineering, Flow Capture to join our Media & Entertainment solutions organization. In this role you will lead teams of software developers and product managers focused on designing and building Flow Capture, a robust cloud-based platform designed for digital dailies and review, primarily used in the film, television, and game production industries.

This is a highly strategic role reporting directly to Executive Vice-President, Diana Collela. You will manage a global software development and product management team from several acquisitions and oversee the integration within Autodesk. We are looking for someone who is nimble, thinks outside the box, and can quickly deliver customer value while leveraging the greater good that Autodesk has to offer. This means someone who has successfully operated at scale that also possesses an entrepreneurial spirit to help drive toward our ambitious goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Flow Capture team to ensure integration within Autodesk, and that we continue to exceed our customers’ expectations
• Accountable for making strategic technical decisions and plans resulting in a committed roadmap
• Spearhead and guide the team to execute using agile and scrum methodologies to continuously get customer feedback throughout the development lifecycle
• Own the delivery of product commitments and always looking for ways to improve productivity
• Oversee product management to strategize, plan and execute upon vision
• Build and lead global teams with the skills and experience necessary to continue to grow Flow Capture while focusing on successful integration within Autodesk

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven technical leadership. Ability to make high-level technical decisions and define roadmaps aligned with business goals
• Demonstrated success in managing distributed software development and product management teams, including post-acquisition integration
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture and scalable platform development, especially in media, entertainment, or gaming industries
• Strong background in agile practices, with the ability to guide teams through iterative development and continuous customer feedback loops
• Experience overseeing product strategy, planning, and execution, ideally with a track record of delivering customer-centric solutions.
• Ability to operate with agility and innovation within a large organization, balancing startup-style execution with enterprise-scale impact
• Skilled in communicating with executive leadership (e.g., EVP level) and aligning cross-functional teams around a shared vision
