Job Summary

This Senior Director of Product, Performance will lead the Live Operations team for Marvel Strike Force, owning long-view strategic planning for the game's LiveOps and business performance. The role involves launching tentpole initiatives, ensuring alignment between strategic vision and tactical execution, and driving sustainable growth by delivering and interpreting game KPIs like revenue, retention, and engagement. The director will also lead Go-to-Market efforts, monitor product ecosystem health, and build a high-performing team.

Must Have

  • Own the business performance of the Live Ops function, accountable for delivering and interpreting game KPIs (revenue, retention, engagement) to guide decisions and drive sustainable growth.
  • Set and align team-wide KPIs and tactical plans, ensuring measurable objectives are in place and tied directly to business goals.
  • Lead Go-to-Market efforts for major content and feature releases, coordinating across disciplines to ensure smooth, high-impact launches.
  • Monitor the health of the product ecosystem, using insights to proactively identify opportunities and risks, and implement impactful initiatives.
  • Continuously apply learnings from data and experimentation to iterate on game features, promotions, and systems, integrating best practices live ops roadmap.
  • Build a high-performing team, mentoring product managers and operational staff, scaling team capabilities, and fostering a culture of ownership and excellence.
  • Establish institutional knowledge through clear documentation of experiments, retrospectives, and playbooks to ensure consistent learning and improvement.
  • Previous work experience with free-to-play games (5+ years).
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical ability with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of game design concepts and principles.
  • Experience hitting revenue/metric targets on a live game.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for figuring out how game economies work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

What You’ll Do

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$223,000 - $335,000 USD
