Job Description

The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in the software development lifecycle, working cross-functionally to provide customer-centric solutions. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining service-oriented architecture, writing efficient code, interacting with stakeholders, validating requirements, creating technical specifications, supporting builds and deployments, and providing mentorship. This role involves applications support, troubleshooting across environments, and a fast-paced environment with frequent changes.
Must have:
  • 6+ years of system development experience
  • Experience with Java i18n and Spring Boot Framework
  • Proficiency in J2EE Technologies
  • Knowledge of Microservices/API/SOA and Rest standards
  • Familiarity with Node js
  • Experience with Tomcat, JBoss, SQL Server, Mongo DB
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Experience with Angular SPA Framework
  • Familiarity with AWS Services
  • Experience with XML, XSL, JAX-RS, JSON
  • Understanding of modern web application technologies
  • Experience architecting and developing enterprise integrations systems
  • Knowledge of Code Build and Deploy Tools
  • Understanding of Agile or SCRUM development process
  • Self-starter, organized, and team player
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

The Senior Software Engineer plays a key role within each phase of the software development lifecycle. This individual will work cross-functionally with the company’s infrastructure, security, data warehouse, and other development teams to provide customer-centric solutions and build a world-class background check platform to meet the exploding growth of the company and business demands

Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain service-oriented architecture platforms from start to finish.
    • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
    • Interact with internal stakeholders and external customers.
    • Validate requirements.
    • Create technical specifications.
    • Support build and deployments.
    • Integration and unit testing.
    • Applications support / troubleshooting across environments.
    • Provide mentorship to junior-mid level developers

Qualifications

    • BE/BTECH/MS in Computer Science or equivalent education.
    • 6+ years of system development experience using the following technologies:
    • Java i18n
    • Spring Boot Framework
    • J2EE Technologies including JSP/Servlets, EJB3, JMS, JDBC, JMX
    • Microservices/API/SOA, Rest standards
    • Node js
    • Tomcat, JBoss, SQL Server, Mongo DB
    • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
    • Angular SPA Framework
    • AWS Services (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, SQS, SNS)
    • XML, XSL, JAX-RS, JSON
    • Deep familiarity with modern web application technologies & frameworks.
    • Experience architecting and developing enterprise integrations systems.
    • Code Build and Deploy Tools such as Jenkins/Code Build.
    • Solid understanding of Agile or SCRUM development process and software release processes.
    • Must be a self-starter who is highly organized, hands-on, and a team player.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication
