Job Description

As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at OKX, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future by contributing to every individual's freedom. You will serve as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to leadership. Your responsibilities include partnering with business leaders to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives, championing employee engagement, leveraging data analytics for HR decisions, providing guidance and coaching, leading HR projects, and managing the HR function for assigned business units. This role requires strong business acumen, coaching leaders, advising on team development, performance and navigating employee relations. You will also collaborate with Talent Acquisition to shape hiring strategies and scale high-performing teams as we grow. You'll use strong business and financial acumen to provide insight to the broader HR team and partner with COEs to address both short-term operational needs and long-term strategic goals.
Must have:
  • 7+ years of HR experience as HRBP/OD, C&B, or TD.
  • Experience working with C-suite executives in corporate governance.
  • Ability to analyze HR data and translate insights.
  • Ability to balance strategic HR initiatives with operational support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with global, remote teams.
  • Passionate about company culture and collaboration.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to cryptocurrency.
  • A genuine interest in the cryptocurrency space.
  • Mandarin language skills

About the Opportunity

This isn’t your average HR role. At the forefront of the fast-moving cryptocurrency industry, you’ll serve as a strategic business partner, trusted advisor to leadership, and a key driver of an inclusive and high-performance culture.

At OKX, HR Business Partners (HRBPs) co-create people-centric solutions with business leaders that enable transformation, fuel commercial goals, and support our vision of Building the Future, Together. You’ll use strong business and financial acumen to provide insight to the broader HR team and partner with COEs to address both short-term operational needs and long-term strategic goals.

Day to day, you’ll coach leaders, advise on team development and performance, navigate employee relations, and support compensation and reward practices. You’ll also collaborate with Talent Acquisition to shape hiring strategies and scale high-performing teams as we grow.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with senior business leaders to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives as the organizations continue to grow and scale globally. Topics may include performance management, organizational design, change management, compensation/commission management, cultural integration, etc.
  • Be a champion for employee engagement, fostering a positive and productive work environment for our global team.
  • Leverage data analytics to inform HR decisions and measure the impact of HR programs.
  • Provide trusted guidance and coaching to leaders at all levels, ensuring effective talent management practices to drive high performing organizations.
  • Lead HR projects related to team success, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Manage all aspects of the HR function for your assigned business unit(s), including partnership with talent acquisition, onboarding of new employees, and employee relations.

What We Look For In You

  • 7+ years of HR experience, with background as HR Business Partner, OD, C&B, and/or TD, ideally within a high-growth tech or financial services company.
  • Experience working with C-suite executives in corporate governance groups (ie. Legal, Compliance, Audit, Risk, etc)
  • Data-centric with the ability to analyze HR data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to balance strategic HR initiatives with hands-on operational support.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Experience working effectively with global, remote teams across various time zones.
  • Passionate about building and shaping company culture, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration. 

Nice to Haves

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to cryptocurrency.
  • A genuine interest or passion for the cryptocurrency space and its potential to revolutionize finance.
  • Mandarin language skills are a plus due to our global team and cross-cultural collaboration

  • The salary range for this position is $152,000 - $228,000
  • The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
