Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer to join one of our teams in Sofia (hybrid mode of work).

This role involves designing, implementing, and managing the internal and external company IAM systems to ensure reliability, security and compliance.

The Department and the Team:

Global IT provides IT solutions to Milestone business and customers. We safeguard and drive IT Enterprise Architecture, we define IT Solution Architecture, and we lead IT security by defining IT policies and setting guard rails for behavior, acceptable use, and compliance. Our services include software development, cloud services, cybersecurity, data analytics, Digital Workplace, end-user support and much more. We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

The Infrastructure Services team consists of 10 specialists within the IT infrastructure disciplines (datacenter, network, compute, backup, cloud, automation) located in Bulgaria and Denmark. The team is part of Global IT, Enterprise Platform Delivery and delivers the IT Infrastructure services platform at Milestone systems.

Responsibilities:

• Internal and external Identity and Access Management platforms.
• Designs, plans, and configures the internal and external Identity and Access Management platforms of Milestone.
• Defines the technology strategy for the IAM area in collaboration with the other IAM engineers.

A Typical Day at Milestone / Daily Tasks:

• Designs and develops technology changes following the Agile methodology.
• Creates well-designed, testable, efficient, and secure IAM solutions using best practices.
• Transitions the solutions into operations.
• Plans and implements changes into production.
• Works on complex incidents and problems.
• Ensures technical cooperation within and across teams.
• Stays informed about the technology trends.
• Collaborates with vendors.

How We Can Match:

• Experience with identity federation, privileged access management, and directory services.
• Familiarity with cloud based IAM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID).
• Knowledge of IAM technologies and standards (SAML, SCIM, LDAP, OpenID connect).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell) for IAM automation.
• Good understanding of Zero Trust security models.
• Good understanding of CIAM.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Relevant educational degree and IT experience.

Preferred: 

• Knowledge of Omada is preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Azure is preferred.
• Knowledge of Terraform is preferred.
