The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java-based applications for trading systems, focusing on high-concurrency and high-availability. Responsibilities include architecting scalable, low-latency systems, optimizing performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing clean code, troubleshooting production issues, and staying updated on industry trends. The engineer will contribute to building an inclusive financial ecosystem using digital assets and blockchain technology.
Must have:
- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Expertise in high-concurrency, high-availability systems
- Proficiency in Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Maven)
- Deep understanding of multithreading and distributed systems
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Alibaba Cloud)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills

About the team

We are seeking a mid to senior level Java Engineer with a robust background in developing our trading systems. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing high-concurrency, high-availability systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications for spot or futures trading systems
- Architect and implement scalable, low-latency, and fault-tolerant systems to handle high-concurrency workloads
- Optimize system performance to ensure high availability and reliability under demanding conditions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, DevOps, and other developers, to deliver robust solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve system capabilities
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and fostering a culture of technical excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience with backend development
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing high-concurrency, high-availability systems
- Proficiency in Java frameworks and tools (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, Maven)
