Job Description
The Senior Jira Analyst will identify and analyze user requirements, designing and implementing solutions for Jira Software and Service Management. Responsibilities include managing installations, configurations, customizations, and troubleshooting for Atlassian products and plugins. The role involves integrating Jira with CI/CD and tooling platforms, designing schemes, managing user accounts, and updating software licenses. The analyst will need strong technical knowledge of the Atlassian Jira suite, including experience with access control, security configurations, and workflow development. The candidate should have good communication skills and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Good To Have:
- Experience extending Atlassian products via code development is preferable
- Experience directly integrating Atlassian products with other systems is preferable
- Knowledge of script runner is a plus
Must Have:
- 3 years administrating Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Desk)
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with JQL
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of both Scrum and Kanban methodologies

What You Will Do
- Identify and analyze user requirements and then propose the Design, development, and implementation approach for Jira Software, Service Management, and the associated plugins.
- Own the design, implementation, workflows, and maintenance of Jira Software for Project Management and Jira Service Desk for Incident Management.
- Be the single point of contact in managing all the installations, setup, configuration, customization, migration, troubleshooting, training, etc. for all the Atlassian products and plugins used within the organization.
- Work with the Engineering and DevOps teams on Jira integration with in-house and other 3rd-party CI/CD and tooling platforms using integration modules and webhooks.
Design and implement screen, permission, and notification schemes, dashboards, fields, post functions, etc., to serve as templates for development teams. - Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions schemes to projects aligned with project and organizational structures.
- Manage and update software and licenses.
- Sound technical knowledge of Atlassian JIRA suite of applications, especially Jira Software and Jira Service Management, Confluence and Bitbucket
- Hands-on experience in configuring Access Control and security for SSL, SSO, SAML, and LDAP configuration for Jira.
- Expert in the design and development of workflow/modules/custom templates/forms using plugins within the Atlassian suite
Who You Are and What You Bring
