Reporting into the Head of Business Development & Alliance Management, you will be responsible for the overall health and strategic direction of assigned alliances. You will cultivate strong, multi-level relationships with partners, navigate complex contractual landscapes, proactively address challenges, and identify opportunities to enhance and expand collaborations. This role demands a high degree of strategic thinking, diplomatic communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally, to achieve shared objectives focused on bringing innovative digital therapeutics to patients globally.

This position is based out of Click’s headquarters located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities. We have a hybrid working model that consists of at least 3 days in office each week.

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain robust, trust-based relationships with key counterparts at partner organizations, including senior leadership. Serve as the primary strategic point of contact, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring open communication channels.
  • Contractual Stewardship: Develop deep expertise in alliance agreements, ensuring not only compliance but also that the strategic intent of the partnership is realized. Lead the negotiation and execution of contract amendments or extensions as needed.
  • Strategic Problem Solving & Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks, conflicts, or challenges within the alliance. Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies and resolve complex issues effectively and diplomatically, escalating appropriately when necessary.
  • Value Maximization & Opportunity Identification: Continuously assess alliance performance and health, identifying strategic insights and trends. Proactively identify and champion opportunities to expand the scope, value, or duration of existing partnerships in alignment with Click's strategic priorities.
  • Alliance Management Best Practices: Contribute to the development and refinement of Click's overall alliance management capabilities, processes, and tools, incorporating industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (PhD, MBA, PharmD) preferred; Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or business field required.
  • Minimum of 8-10+ years of relevant experience in the biopharmaceutical or digital health industry, with a significant portion dedicated specifically to Alliance Management. Experience managing complex, strategic partnerships is essential.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing high-profile, complex alliances, ideally involving co-development or co-commercialization.
  • Deep understanding of partnership contracts, including financial and intellectual property terms common in life sciences collaborations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to build consensus and manage relationships effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities within an alliance.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, including executive leadership (executive presence).
  • Ability to operate independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple complex alliances simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of drug development, medical device/software development, and/or commercialization processes is highly advantageous.
