Senior Manager - Direct Marketing and Promotions

We’re looking for an experienced and commercially savvy Senior Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of promotions and the direct marketing strategy across Ladbrokes and Neds. 

Reporting to the GM of Customer Engagement, you’ll lead a talented team of 4 who are responsible for delivering targeted offers and messaging across multiple direct channels. Your team's work will directly influence customer engagement, brand experience, and business performance.  

The ideal candidate has solid experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and thrives in fast-moving environments and has built up the ability to pivot quickly and decisively.

Your day-to-day...

• Lead the team in delivering integrated campaigns across email, SMS, push, and site, ensuring quality, consistency, and effectiveness. 

• Coach and guide a high-performing team, ensuring clear goals, professional growth, and alignment to business priorities. 

• Build and manage the promotional calendar, aligning to key racing and sporting events, product updates, and retention moments. 

• Analyse results, draw insights, and continuously improve campaigns to maximise customer engagement and contribute to key commercial KPIs. 

• Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure customer-facing messages are timely, relevant, and on-brand. 

• Partner with Martech to improve workflow efficiency, campaign automation, and overall marketing delivery. 

• Forecast and manage bonus spend across campaigns, ensuring alignment to approved budgets and business objectives. 

You're a match if you have…

• Strong experience leading direct marketing and promotional campaigns, ideally within a high-growth or fast-paced industry like wagering, entertainment or retail. 

• Deep experience with campaign and Martech platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud). 

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and influence outcomes across departments. 

• Strong commercial mindset – you know how to link marketing activity to business results. 

• Excellent communication, planning, and execution skills – you thrive under pressure and keep teams moving forward.
