Job Description
The Senior Manager, Product Management manages the complete product lifecycle, covering planning, execution, and support, in alignment with the organization's strategies and goals. This role involves developing and directing marketing programs for a key product or product category. The Senior Manager analyzes market research on product requirements and identifies improvements to existing features and functionality. Responsibilities include setting marketing strategies, such as product direction, advertising, packaging, pricing, and profit plans, to effectively manage a product's lifecycle. The role requires collaboration with engineers, designers, suppliers, and customers to define product requirements and specifications, and coordinating product launches and updates.
Manages the entire product life cycle for certain product(s) (e.g., hardware, software, wireless, web products, medical devices, etc.) from planning to execution to support the organization's strategy and objectives. Develops and directs marketing programs for a significant product or product category. Compiles and evaluates research on the market's product requirements and identifies enhancements to current features and functionality. Establishes marketing strategies, including product direction, advertising, packaging, pricing, expense budgets, profit plans and future product development, to manage a product or product category's life cycle. Interfaces with engineers, designers, suppliers and customers to develop product requirements and specifications. Prepares and coordinates product introductions and updates.
