Job Description

As a Senior Manager in the Value Team for Investment Operations Services (IOS), the responsibilities include contributing to and executing the team's strategy, optimizing workflows, planning and managing the team, ensuring alignment with business objectives, identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring timely and within budget delivery of outcomes, supporting the implementation of latest solutions, driving a culture of continuous improvement, and leveraging technology. This role is crucial for transforming the company and supporting its growth in the technology-enabled services business. The team focuses on delivering outcomes for Business Services, particularly in areas like derivatives processing, reconciliation, and cash processing. The role involves managing teams covering several outcomes within the IOS Standard Solution, ensuring efficient operations and reducing onboarding time and effort.

Our Business Services Value Stream is comprised of several individual Value Teams that collectively deliver the outcomes needed to our Business Services team. The individual Value Teams will be comprised of all the resources, skills and capabilities required to plan, code/configure, build, test, release, deploy, operate and monitor our solutions.  

As Value Team Manager you will manage the teams covering several outcomes within IOS Standard Solution. The starting point for this role will be the Derivatives Processing outcome or General services outcome (including reconciliation, fee and cash processing, Fund STP and taxes).  

           

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR    

  • Contributing to and executing the strategy for the Value Team 

  • Optimizing workflows and processes to ensure seamless execution and attainment of shared goals 

  • Plan, execute, and manage Value Team, ensuring they align with business objectives and delivers desired outcomes in alignment with overall strategy and roadmap of the Business Services Value Stream 

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact the IOS value teams' performance or project delivery 

  • Ensure outcomes are delivered on time and within budget and ultimately to reduce onboarding duration and effort, and to create a more efficient run operation  

  • Support implementing the latest solutions and leveraging technology to reduce manual intervention.  

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the value stream, identifying opportunities shorter onboarding timelines and lower cost of operation  

   

WHAT WE VALUE    

  • Experience in delivering services to clients who consume mission-critical, enterprise software; project management skills  

  • People Leadership experience and ability to effectively lead and develop high-performing teams  

  • Business knowledge within derivatives/collateral and/or other Investment Operations areas (e.g., reconciliation, fee and cash processing) and understanding of client business processes as an advantage  

  • Understanding of the technology industry and the fundamentals of a SaaS business will be a plus  

  • Proficient analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with ability to be practically engaged and focus on the details without losing sight of the bigger picture, especially within optimization and organizational design  

  • Skilled in process understanding and an optimization mindset  

  • Highly developed research, writing, listening, and verbal communication skills  

  • Ability to mobilize stakeholders and form trusting relationships in a broad organizational context  

  • Great collaborative skills, highly motivated colleague who works well with others and is result-oriented
