Job Summary
This is a senior-level Manual QA role with full ownership of quality for XR and web products. You will work hands-on with VR/AR/XR applications and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. The role involves driving manual testing strategy across the SDLC, performing various types of testing for XR applications, validating performance and stability, and ensuring consistent quality across platforms. You will also create and maintain test documentation, collaborate with development teams, and contribute to QA process improvement and mentorship.
Must Have
- 5+ years Manual QA experience with complex testing workflows.
- Hands-on VR/AR/XR application or game testing.
- Expertise in functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar.
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, defect lifecycle management, and risk-based testing.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality test documentation.
- Own and drive manual testing strategy across XR and web development lifecycle.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, usability, and exploratory testing for XR applications.
- Validate performance, stability, rendering quality, tracking accuracy, and device-specific limitations.
- Ensure consistent quality standards across multiple hardware platforms, devices, and operating systems.
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, and test reports.
- Work closely with production, design, and engineering teams.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness reviews.
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English.
Good to Have
- Experience with healthcare, medical simulation, or highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools, device profiling, or Unity Profiler.
- Basic understanding of automation for 3D or XR applications (e.g., Unity Test Runner, Appium, or custom frameworks).
- Understanding of when and how to complement manual testing with automation.
- Experience with test automation using JavaScript and/or C#.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar).

Job requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Manual QA, with ownership of complex testing workflows across the full SDLC.
- Proven hands-on experience testing VR/AR/XR applications or games at a senior manual level.
- Strong expertise in functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for multi-module systems.
- Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or similar.
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, defect lifecycle management, and risk-based testing.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality test documentation, including test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, and reports.
- Proactive mindset with strong prioritization skills and the ability to make quality-driven decisions under changing conditions.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative development environments with evolving requirements.
- Ability to work independently within distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Ownership
- Own and drive manual testing strategy across all phases of the XR and web development lifecycle.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, usability, and exploratory testing for XR applications.
- Validate performance, stability, rendering quality, tracking accuracy, and device-specific limitations.
- Ensure consistent quality standards across multiple hardware platforms, devices, and operating systems.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, and test reports.
- Work closely with the production, design, and engineering teams to clarify requirements and define testable acceptance criteria.
- Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness reviews to ensure quality alignment.
Continuous Improvement & Leadership
- Contribute to the evolution of QA processes, standards, and best practices within the team.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and support knowledge-sharing and onboarding initiatives.
- Help refine internal testing templates, device coverage strategies, and XR-specific testing workflows.
