Alphawave Semi is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join their Custom Silicon Group. This role involves developing and executing New Product Introduction (NPI) plans, managing device qualification, and providing customer support. The engineer will also focus on yield enhancement and cost analysis for industry-leading ASICs. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of experience in NPI, qualification, failure analysis, and yield enhancement, along with strong project management skills.

Our Custom Silicon Group (CSG) delivers industry-leading ASICs using spec-to-silicon expertise combined with our advanced design methodologies on leading-edge 3nm, 5nm, 7nm and 12nm foundry processes and 2.5D packaging technology to enable exciting new designs for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Hyperscale Data Centers, Storage, Data Networking, and High-Performance Computing (HPC). With our end-to-end expertise spanning design to manufacturing of domain-optimized SOCs, we are uniquely positioned to deliver high-quality custom silicon in advanced nodes down to 3nm.

Sr Product Engineer

Reporting to the Product Engineering Manager, the Product Engineer is responsible for developing a New Product Introduction (NPI) plan after reviewing all technical information/documentation from the customer to establish all necessary processes for manufacturing.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
  • 5 years of experience at a company multitasking on NPI, Device qualification, failure analysis and yield enhancement.
  • Project management skills should be project execution oriented (responsible for schedule, setting milestones, cost)
  • Experience in fabrication processes, Automatic Test Equipment, data analytics and quality/reliability is a plus
  • Multitasking (NPI, Product transfer overseas, qualification, failure analysis, yield enhancement)
  • C, C++, Java or Python is desired

Salary and Benefits

Your contribution will be recognized with a base salary within the range of $125,000 to $155,000 annually as It is influenced by your qualifications, experience, location, and the internal equity of our team to ensure fairness and consistency across roles. In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, employees are also eligible for additional compensation opportunities, including a short-term incentive program, Retirement & Saving Programs and participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
