Job Description

JustPlay is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to boost user experience by improving activation. The Senior Product Manager will work with cross-functional teams to enhance onboarding, boost feature adoption, and increase retention. Responsibilities include optimizing the onboarding funnel, conducting user research, designing and improving the First-Time User Experience (FTUE), collaborating with various teams, running A/B tests, focusing on early retention metrics, tracking KPIs, and creating personalized onboarding flows. The goal is to make the gaming loyalty platform operator a leading loyalty rewards app.

Your mission

We are a worldwide gaming loyalty platform operator and publisher. Our purpose is to enable free-to-play mobile game players to get rewarded for their hobby. We launched JustPlay in the US in 2020, and now our product is one of the leading loyalty rewards apps in the world. Our team is based in 19+ countries and our headquarters is in Berlin, Germany.
JustPlay is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our growing team to help enhance the user experience by driving activation. You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams to improve onboarding, enhance feature adoption, and boost retention. 


Job responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the onboarding and activation funnel from user acquisition to first game engagement

  • Conduct user research and data analysis to identify friction points in the user journey and improve onboarding

  • Design and improve the First-Time User Experience (FTUE) to help users experience the core value of JustPlay quickly

  • Collaborate with UA, Growth, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment between messaging and in-app experience

  • Run A/B tests and experiments on onboarding flows to optimize activation and conversion points

  • Focus on early retention metrics (D1, D3, D7) and improve the first-session experience and push notifications

  • Track KPIs related to activation and measure impact of improvements

  • Create personalized onboarding flows based on user behavior, demographics, and UA source

The experience we hope you bring to JustPlay

  • You have 4+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on user activation in mobile apps, ideally within mobile gaming, entertainment, or similar industries

  • You have practical, hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams to launch features and campaigns

  • You have a strong understanding of product analytics and experience using data to drive decisions and optimize the user experience

  • You have a proven ability to identify user pain points and deliver practical solutions that improve activation and retention

  • You have excellent communication and organizational skills, with a knack for executing complex initiatives with attention to detail
