Senior Product Manager - Unannounced Project

Scopely is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our unannounced project in Barcelona on a hybrid basis or any of our remote locations in the UK, Portugal and Ireland.

We are in the early stages of development on an ambitious, unannounced, cross-platform Strategy/MMO featuring a well-known IP. You have the opportunity to join a highly experienced team to make a lasting impact on one of the next big releases.

What You Will Do

• Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate closely with the development team to develop and refine the product roadmap, steering vision, strategy, and business model. Oversee the feature lifecycle—from specification writing to launching core features. Manage product requirements and feature quality from inception to delivery, including release analysis and reporting.

• Player's Advocate: Prioritize player experience in every decision, aligning development with the target audience's needs and desires. Understand and address player issues to enhance the game. Identify and implement key initiatives to improve customer and player experiences.

• Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership in daily tasks and larger projects, ensuring quality and timely execution.

• Data Analysis and Insights: Manage and analyze game and market metrics, synthesizing data to derive actionable insights and recommendations. Demonstrate sound product judgment to formulate strategies and set clear, measurable objectives for achieving business goals.

• Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a vocal and proactive member of the team, actively communicate complex ideas clearly and maintain visibility with upper management and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and address potential issues.
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience: experienced in product management and product development.

   

• Analytical Skills: data-driven analytical skills and ability to operate and thrive with partial information and ambiguity and have a track record of building successful teams.

• User experience knowledge: understanding of consumer behaviour which will support product delivery from concept to implementation.

• Decision-Making Ability: Experience working with backlog priotarization, selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results with high quality.
  

Bonus Points

• Live Operation Experience: previous working experience with live softwares.

• Genre Experience: precious experience in either 4X strategy or Action RPG games.
