Job Description
As a Senior QA Engineer at BeReal, you will take ownership of quality across multiple squads. Responsibilities include defining and implementing QA processes, creating comprehensive test plans and test cases, managing automated and manual testing workflows, collaborating with PMs and developers to define quality goals, acting as the point of contact for QA matters, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvements in reliability, scalability, and testing strategy. You will ensure that every feature meets the highest standards of quality, security, and performance. The role requires strong experience in mobile product QA and excellent communication and project management skills.
Must Have:
- 5+ years QA experience in fast-paced mobile environments
- Manual and automated testing expertise
- Excellent communication and project management
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in French & English

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to take full ownership of quality across our squads. You’ll be the reference point for QA at BeReal, setting the bar for excellence, implementing best practices, and working closely with engineers and PMs to ensure every feature meets the highest standards of quality, security, and performance.
- Define, own and implement QA processes across multiple squads
- Create and manage comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Maintain and improve automated and manual testing workflows
- Collaborate with PMs and developers to define quality goals early in the development lifecycle
- Be the point of contact for QA topics within BeReal — acting as a mentor and quality ambassador
- Drive continuous improvements in reliability, scalability and testing strategy
Profile
- 5+ years in QA, ideally in fast-paced mobile product environments
- Solid experience with both manual and automated testing
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in both French & English
