Your Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting thorough code reviews, writing clear and actionable reports, and maintaining test cases integrated into our CI/CD pipeline. You’ll play a key role in identifying and addressing open issues and vulnerabilities, and supporting the team with remediation efforts. Your expertise in emerging security threats will be essential in ensuring our products are secure and ready for a successful rollout.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct comprehensive security and quality assessments for Polygon Labs' products, ensuring robust protection and functionality

  • Develop, document and implement both automated and manual test plans and procedures to guarantee high-quality releases

  • ​​Advocate for testing and code quality within engineering teams driving best practices and continuous improvement.

  • Identify, track, and document issues, collaborating closely with developers to facilitate quick and efficient resolution

  • Serve as a key resource on software engineering best practices, particularly Rust, and proactively mentor team members through code reviews, learning materials, and retrospectives


What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of experience programming in Rust 

  • High level understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities

  • Experience using testing, quality and security analysis tools

  • Ability to perform Rust Code Reviews

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a security related role (engineering, IR, Vulnerability and Remediation Management, etc..)
