Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for a proactive, dynamic, decisive and creative Recruiter with end to end responsibilities. You will play a core role in driving Univrse’s recruitment strategy. You will have the responsibility to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. You’ll join a very young company where recruitment happens on ad-hoc processes until now and you’ll be in charge of creating processes, implement ATS. In return, you’ll have a high autonomy, within our very small hr team,  reporting to the CEO. The company grows with light-speed and we need someone who can keep up the growth while their partner in HR is strengthening the company culture and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
• Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
• Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
• Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc
• Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc
• Screen candidates resumes and job applications
• Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
• Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Managing internship programs.
• Providing recruitment reports to team managers
• Contact agencies and negotiate conditions with them.
• Engage contractors whenever needed

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE 

• Proven 3-5+ years work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
• Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews: juniors, seniors, professional and business, sales  (structured, competency-based, stress etc)
• Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc)
• Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc)
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
• Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong decision-making skills
• Experience in small companies: startups, SMEs with highly autonomous workflows
• Strong self-management and time-management skills 

MEETING ONE OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS IS A PLUS 

• You love XR, AR, VR and Videogames in general (Gamers welcome)
• Candidates for this position must have a genuine interest in the latest technological developments in the industry

OTHER SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of emerging technologies.
• Must have an excellent level of English 
• An at least intermediate level of Spanish is preferred
