Avalanche Studios Group seeks a Senior Technical Producer for their hit hunting simulation game, TheHunter: Call of the Wild. This role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring roadmap alignment, resource management, and successful feature delivery. Responsibilities include translating business goals into actionable plans, driving process improvements, and communicating the product vision. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in game development production from a technical perspective, possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, and be adept at agile/scrum methodologies. Experience leading and motivating agile teams in an AA/AAA environment is essential. The position involves working with internal and external stakeholders and requires excellent risk assessment capabilities.

TheHunter: Call of the Wild is our genre-defining hunting simulation game. Released in 2017, the game has seen players all over the world join its realistic and visually breathtaking open world. With a devoted community of players and a fantastic team of developers, TheHunter: Call of the Wild is now looking for a Senior Producer to join the project!

The position:
As a Senior Producer you will work with various cross-disciplinary teams, ensuring the road map and dependencies properly line up. You will coordinate resources and execution to ensure successful completion of assigned development features and release. You will be responsible for translating business and product goals into plans and actions, acting as a change agent for process improvements. Together with the Central Tech Team, Publishing Services Team and the Technical Director you will develop, champion and communicate the product vision to the team in order to build and maintain a strong team spirit and a productive environment.

What you’ll do:

    • Experience as a Producer within game development/production from the technical perspective
    • Attention to detail, timely follow-up and strong leadership and organizational skills
    • Ability to risk-assess, and propose risk-averse alternatives & mitigation plans
    • Experience with project planning and agile/scrum development methodology
    • Accountable for the iterative improvement of our ways of working and pipelines within your unit
    • Accountable for the timely delivery of functional software that fulfills the product vision and roadmap
    • Excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to communicate studio and project goals, feedback, and requests in a clear, concise manner to internal teams and external stakeholders
    • People management skills, where coaching and mentoring towards success are part of your leadership style

Who you are:

    • Experience with running teams in a cross-disciplined development environment.
    • Experience with working and coordinating with external departments.
    • Experience as a game Producer within AA/AAA development/production ideally through all development cycles (concept > sunset).
    • Experience in leading and motivating agile development teams.
    • A strong desire to grow, learn and develop yourself and others.
    • Self-driven and a proactive problem solver.
    • You value diversity and thrive in a multicultural environment that uses English as a common language.
    • Passionate about video games.
