Job Summary
As a Senior Technical Solutions Engineer, you will provide technical support for Databricks Lakebase and Neon.com, assisting customers in their journey to achieve strategic goals. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, providing best practices, improving performance, coordinating root-cause analysis, working with APIs, and collaborating with engineering teams. The role requires a genuine desire to help customers, 4+ years of technical support experience in cloud products, strong SQL database experience, Linux/Unix administration skills, and hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Must Have
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues related to Lakebase/Neon platforms
- Provide best practices support for custom-built solutions developed by Databricks customers
- Deliver suggestions for improving performance in customer-specific environments
- Coordinate root-cause analysis and resolution of high-complexity issues and informally assist peers with technical roadblocks and user escalations
- Work with APIs, REST payloads, REST endpoints, and third-party integrations to make recommendations to resolve user issues
- Demonstrate and coordinate with engineering and escalation teams to achieve resolution of customer issues and requests
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of company documentation and knowledge articles
- Be a true proponent of customer advocacy
- Participate in weekend and weekday on-call rotation

- 4+ years of experience in technical support roles for cloud products
- Strong experience with SQL-based databases is required
- Linux/Unix administration skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills

- Technical degree or equivalent experience

Job Description
As a Senior Technical Solutions Engineer, you will provide technical support for Databricks Lakebase related issues and resolve any challenges involving the Neon.com cloud-native Postgres service. You will assist customers in their Databricks journey and provide them with the guidance and knowledge that they need to accomplish value and achieve their strategic goals using our products. They will look to you for answers to everything from basic technical questions to complex architectural scenarios spanning across the Lakebase OLTP ecosystem. You will report to a Manager of Technical Solutions.
The impact you will have:
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues related to Lakebase/Neon platforms
