Job Description
As a Test Infrastructure Engineer, you will deploy and maintain test infrastructure and automation tools for hardware and software testing. Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches, setting up and maintaining test stations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The goal is to ensure high availability and reliability for continuous integration and testing. The role requires engineers to be able to work independently, wear multiple hats, and embrace challenges.
Good To Have:
- Experience setting up Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
- Experience setting up automated HIL test benches
- Experience using Kubernetes
Must Have:
- 5+ years of working on Linux and networking
- Hands-on experience with embedded hardware (Raspberry Pis, etc.)
- Experience debugging issues with Linux system management
- Understanding VLANs, OSI layers, and network tracing
- Proficient in Python experience
- Understanding of Docker container management
- Experience with continuous integration tools

- Deploying and maintaining our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches that emulates spacecraft avionics, enabling comprehensive testing and ensure high availability and reliability for continuous integration and testing.
- Setup and maintain the various test stations of our integration facility into our test environment to ensure high availability and reliability for continuous integration and testing.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and meet their testing needs, ensuring the platform is flexible and easy to use.
- 5+ years of working on Linux, networking
- Hands-on experience involving embedded hardware, such as Raspberry Pis, Arduinos, microcontrollers, or similar (can be personal or professional experience)
- Experience debugging issues with Linux system management (systemd, networkd, file system etc.)
- Understanding VLANs, OSI layers, tracing packets from one source to another, TCP dump/wireshark, UDP vs. TCP
- Proficient in Python experience
- Understanding of how to create, configure, and manage Docker containers
- Experience with one or more continuous integration tools
- Experience setting up Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
- Experience setting up automated hardware in the loop (HIL) test benches
- Experience using Kubernetes
