Senior UX/UI Designer

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for a skilled Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and translating user insights into cohesive user experiences. You will bring creativity, a refined aesthetic, and expert technical knowledge. We are seeking a senior designer who has experience working with product owners and cross-functional teams to drive results across the various stages of the UX and UI design lifecycle.

Please note: You must have at least 8+ years of proven experience delivering a range of UX and UI design solutions across different digital products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Own the design process from concept to completion, ensuring the creation and delivery of innovative and high-quality design solutions and tailored experiences for digital users.
• Contribute to the development of a comprehensive UX/UI design approach that reflects project goals and reinforces the brand identity.
• Investigate and define UX design requirements for our suite of digital products. Conduct user research to identify needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for digital assets. Ensure all UI design reflects and supports the organization’s established style guides and brand strategies.
• Test UI elements such as CTAs, banners, layouts, and flows for landing pages and applications. Conduct user testing and usability studies to validate design decisions and optimize user experience.
• Collaborate with marketing, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into compelling designs and user experiences.
• Apply UX research methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior. Promote best practices in usability, accessibility, and interaction design.
• Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and other research methods; extrapolate actionable insights from the data to inform design iterations.
• Adhere to the organization’s brand style guides, typography, accessibility, and graphic design standards.
• Participate in Agile development cycles, ensuring UX/UI considerations are integrated throughout sprints.
• Responsible for design quality assurance and integration sign-off. Ensure that the final developed product meets the approved UX/UI quality requirements.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products or services.
• 8+ years of experience in a design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects and design solutions for both web and mobile platforms.
• Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Figma, Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
• Experience working both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong time-management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about design challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
