Service Engineer

As a Service Engineer with MTU Japan, you will be responsible in supporting customers/OEMS/Service Partner, including field service activities.

Key Accountabilities:

• Providing support to OEMs’ service network
• Leading and coordinating MTU’s service partners nationwide.
• Installation of MTU engines and related equipment at customers’ premises in accordance with MTU standards.
• Giving advice to customers to ensure optimal engine performance
• Advising Service Partners and customers on maintenance & repair works in accordance with MTU standards Responsible for applying Warranty/Goodwill through MTU application system and controlling the progress.

Qualifications:

• Engineering skills to promote and develop technical understanding and solutions to customers
• 4-5 years of relevant working experience
• Technical competency to understand engine mechanics and technology
• Familiarity with industrial off-highway market in Japan
• Capacity to communicate and foster constructive dialogue with colleagues and customers
• Comprehensive English and Native Japanese language skills a must.
