The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Set Dresser & Prop Maker to work on a Shaun the Sheep stop motion feature.
The main function of the role will be a combination or prop making and set dressing. You will carry out an exceptional level of prop making as required, hitting previously agreed schedules and keeping on top of changing deadlines in discussion with the appropriate Creative Lead and Production team.
You will be a skilled maker in a range of techniques inc. sculpting, casting, moulding, painting; texturing, greenery, model making and sewing etc. This will include being able to adapt, fabricate and dress sets as required to a high standard.
You will be experienced at working with the full production team and communicating with clarity with regards to timings required on set.
The Candidate:
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 4 years film/TV industry experience. Stop motion experience is preferable.
The successful candidate will be creative with a keen eye for colour, texture, decoration and detail. You will be an excellent all-round set dresser and prop maker who is able to conceptualise ideas, think visually and possess a good eye for decoration and detail.
