Job Description
This short-term contract role requires an FX Artist to create high-quality visual effects for various projects. The role involves designing effects such as fire, smoke, explosions, water, and magic effects using industry-standard software. The artist will collaborate with the Head of CG and FX Supervisor to achieve the desired look and feel, ensuring technical soundness and meeting deadlines. This includes managing and organizing FX elements, troubleshooting issues, and following production pipelines. The candidate should work both from the office or remotely.
Must have:
- Proven experience as an FX Artist in Feature films.
- Strong artistic eye and understanding of physical dynamics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- A strong portfolio showcasing FX work.

Job Details
- Create high-quality visual effects (FX) including, but not limited to: fire, smoke, explosions, water, particles, magic effects, and destruction.
- Work closely with the Head of CG, FX Supervisor and other team members to achieve the desired look and feel for the project.
- Develop and implement FX using industry-standard software.
- Ensure that FX are technically sound and meet performance requirements.
- Manage and organize FX elements efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve technical and creative issues related to FX.
- Follow production pipelines and meet deadlines.
