Job Description

PhantomFX is seeking a Senior/Mid Lighting Artist for a short-term contract role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling shot elements, creating light rigs, and look development, with strong optimization and problem-solving skills. They should have a good understanding of real-time surfaces, lighting, and photography, and be able to work within production deadlines. The role involves close collaboration with lighting leads and compositors, taking direction from supervisors, and providing slap comps with AOVs. Must Have:

Assembling required elements for that shot involved and creating light rigs, look dev. For shot related.
Optimization and problem solving skills.
Good understanding for real-time surfaces, lighting and photography.
Work within the show structure and production deadlines to complete the tasks.
Work closely with lighting lead and Compositors to ensure shot lighting will work smoothly within the show pipeline.
Take direction from Lighting Lead and CG supervisor.
Provide slap comps with aov's for the shot.
Total Work Experience 3-5 years as in Mid FX – Artist.
Total Work Experience 6-8 years as in Senior FX – Artist.
Skill to identify the problems and effectively need to implement the solution.
Ability to do complex and challenging projects in a given timeline.
Attitude includes proper responses to feedback from leads, pro activeness, team player, helping others.
