Job Description

This Social Creative Lifestyle role involves managing social media channels for a major automotive brand's lifestyle division (fashion and merch). Responsibilities include developing and implementing social media creative aligning with marketing goals, crafting content maintaining brand consistency, building content plans, collaborating with the design team on visuals and videos, optimizing content for maximum impact, leveraging trends to expand reach, understanding the social community, confidently presenting ideas, utilizing social analytics, producing content for BMW events (pre-production to post-production), and keeping up with industry trends. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in social media, content creation, or advertising, with a strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends and best practices for global brands. Experience with fashion/ecommerce brands and automotive is a plus.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Are you a Social Creative with a passion for style/ecommerce and automotive? Want to learn in a fast-paced, friendly and proactive environment and work on one of the biggest automotive brands in the world?

We’re looking for someone who’s keen to learn, grow and support our talented team in the day-to-day management of the brand’s social channels. If you think that could be you, read on!
WHAT YOU DO
  • In this position, you will work with one of the world's largest automotive brands, predominantly for their Lifestyle  (fashion and merch) division. Developing and implementing effective social media creative with the overall marketing goals of the brand’s global social media channels.
  • Crafting content while maintaining brand uniformity and messaging tone.
  • Working within a team, building content plans and proposals, delivering always-on content for the brand’s official global social media channels.
  • Working with the design team to create exciting visuals and videos.
  • Optimising existing content to make effective social posts and maximise their potential based on your social expertise.
  • Employing trends to broaden the organic reach of content.
  • Understanding the social community and their needs and translating that into creative ideas and executions.
  • Keeping up-to-date on emerging trends and changes in social media with an active interest in the field.
  • Confidently leading the client through both your own and others’ ideas and knowing how to sell in great creative.
  • A good understanding of social analytics and how to interpret and translate that data into effective, social-first implementations.
  • Producer - onsite BMW events: - Preproduction: organisation, concepting ideas - Production: camera team briefing and oversight - Post production: video editor briefing and oversight - Event content delivery
WHO YOU ARE
  • Demonstrated a professional background within social media, content creation or advertising, with at least 1-3 years of experience in the field.
  • A solid understanding of and keen interest in social media algorithms, trends, and best practices for global brands.
  • Experience in running social marketing for fashion and/or ecommerce brands (especially with social shopping integrated) is hugely advantageous for this role.
  • Experience in generating social ideas for brands (automotive experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills: written, spoken and copywriting.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment and help brief other teams on concepts.
  • Robust organisational capabilities and exceptional attention to detail of their work.
  • A generally confident demeanour in virtual and real spaces when presenting and debating in front of teams and senior management.
  • Experienced in engaging with clients in person, via email and video call.
  • Proficient at operating under pressure and achieving time-sensitive objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of who your audience is and tailor messages to meet its needs.
  • Ability to confidently hold internal information and discussions in certain topic areas.
  • Have an active interest in automotive and/or fashion and retail and follows the sector personally.
  • Positive, proactive team member, with a drive to deliver best-in-class social media content and channel management
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva are highly beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Available for international travel as and when needed to fulfil your role.
  • Confidence in driving new cars (often required for shoots) is ideal but not mandatory.
