Job Description

This position is for a software engineer to join a data service/management team serving Autodesk mainframe products. The team designs, implements, and deploys critical material-related components and services, collaborating with other Forge Group or Autodesk product teams. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, debugging, and documenting new and existing software features, translating business needs into technical requirements, and ensuring high-quality software through engineering practices like code reviews and unit testing, while resolving challenging programming and design problems.
Good To Have:
  • Experience with CAD software usage or development
  • Work experience in QT, Jenkins, Python
  • Work experience in web technologies like React, JavaScript, Java
  • Basic knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts within a specific discipline
  • Perform routine, defined assignments with direct guidance and oversight
  • Learn to use professional concepts in practical situations
  • Take an active role in learning and becoming familiar with the discipline and broader team environment
  • Typically seek guidance on problems as they arise, and adapt to solve problems encountered previously
Must Have:

  • BS or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent domain
  • 0-2 year of work experience
  • Strong development proficiency in C++, programming skills
  • Proficiency in software development tools and version control systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • BS or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent domain
  • 0-2 year of work experience
  • Strong development proficiency in C++, programming skills
  • Proficiency in software development tools and version control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
