Software Engineer 2 (IDN - 120)

SageCor Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to provide engineering services in high-performance computing, large data analytics, and cutting-edge information technologies. The role requires an active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph and experience in Linux, Java, Spring Framework, SQL/NoSQL databases, containerization, and Git. Candidates should have a Master's with 3 years, Bachelor's with 5 years, or 7 years of SWE experience.

Must Have

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.
• Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• OR Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience using the Linux CLI
• Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
• Recent experience developing with Java in a Linux environment
• Recent experience developing with the Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring Integration
• Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
• Familiar with Messaging Frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
• Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Bamboo and GitLab CI
• Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible
• Experience using Git Source Control System

Good to Have

• Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence

SWE-2 Qualifications:

Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

OR

Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Position Required Skills:
