Software Engineer

##### Job Description

The Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and applications. This role ensures high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet business needs.

##### Responsibilities

• Design and develop new backend features on a highly scalable and self-healing platform.
• Assist in the implementation of a state-of-the-art microservices architecture.
• Research new technologies and participate in architectural decisions.
• Work in a test-driven development (TDD) environment.
• Write code with performance, reliability, and maintainability in mind.
• Perform functional requirements analysis.
• Write high-quality code and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with other developers, QA, and product team members.
• Apply analytical skills and maintain a strong commitment to quality.
• Help track requests, issues, work progress, and other changes using project management tools.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Manage code changes and conduct code reviews.

##### Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a backend software engineer, with expertise in Python or Go.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization technologies in cloud-based environments.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Proven track record of working with high-volume transactional systems.
• Strong commitment to software quality and software engineering best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good command of both verbal and written English.
• A degree in Information Technology or a related field is considered an advantage
