As the chosen one, you will wield your power to evolve and design our mythical CurseForge domain – a sanctuary visited by legions of gamers seeking to enhance their gaming experiences with powerful enchantments known as mods. Your kingdom will be vast, spanning the mystical lands of both front-end and back-end development.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Architect and develop a cross-platform application designed to offer seamless game addons and mods management for a wide user base.
  • Build and enhance our website, ensuring millions of users can effortlessly explore, discover, and download their desired content across various games.
  • Engage in the development and design of system architecture, contributing to our platforms' foundational and operational excellence.
  • Create and maintain a robust background service using C# and .NET Framework to manage game mods efficiently.
  • Utilize Typescript and React to develop applications for Overwolf and Electron, focusing on delivering high-quality, user-friendly experiences.
  • Apply your expertise in Typescript and React in the development of the CurseForge website, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and accessible user journey.
  • Guard the Overwolf secret basement during full-moon nights.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years' experience with React/Typescript.
  • Proficiency in Node.JS for backend development.
  • Strong skills in software design and architecture.
  • A team player committed to continuous improvement and feedback.
  • Ability to ignore basement-originating howls without asking too many questions.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with C# .NET
  • Experience with Next.JS
  • Experience with unit, integration, and e2e tests
  • Experience developing in a CI/CD environment
  • Background in a fast-growing startup environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Werewolf containment credentials or equivalent experience
