Paradoxum Games is looking for a new Front-End Software Engineer to help us develop our web presence further! As a Front-End Software Engineer, you'll work directly with our infrastructure engineering team to develop a new website, as well as internal tooling for use at Paradoxum Games.
You're a great fit for this role if you:
Required: are familiar with project organizational strategies (SCRUM, Agile, etc)
Required: have a solid background (2-3+ years) in asynchronous TypeScript programming
Required: have a solid background (2-3+ years) in HTML/CSS, with an emphasis on website accessibility / cross-browser compatibility
Required: are familiar with industry-standard design tools (we use Figma)
Required: are familiar with modern web-design frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
Required: have excellent written / verbal communication skills in English
have experience writing code for serverless frameworks (Next.js, Supabase, etc)
are hyper-fixated on the end-user experience, down to the last pixel
can design thoughtful & beautiful interfaces, without compromising on usability
have experience working with WAF / serverless hosting services (we use Cloudflare)
are familiar with container orchestration software (we use Kubernetes)
are familiar with modern CSS tooling (Tailwind CSS)
You will:
Work with other team members located remotely via Slack / Google Meet
Collaborating with cross-disciplinary peers, manage complex initiatives that span multiple peers and teams, and leading projects start to finish, including assessing risk, setting goals, and following up with peers to ensure timely delivery
Write TypeScript code with React that thousands of people will see daily
Directly work with our marketing teams to single-handedly design and create new websites
Create sleek, functional websites for internal tooling
Architect efficient & reusable front-end systems that will be used across the entire organization
Design mock-ups in Figma, and then bring them to life
Focus on creating websites with accessibility in mind - our user base is predominantly <18, so make sure it's not too complicated
