What you’ll do
- Become part of a top-notch cross-functional team to advance our integrations platform used by external and internal Make integration developers.
- Design, develop, and implement features that improve scalability, performance, and usability.
- Sharpen the code: refactor, optimize and make it rock-solid.
- Hunt bugs, write tests and launch the code into the wild.
- Pitch ideas with RFCs and write docs people actually love to read.
- Swap feedback, review code and grow together as a team.
- If you like, participate in cross-cutting initiatives and missions to shape the future of our tooling and engineering practices.

What we expect from you
You have built a back-end service or few. You know what it takes to run a service in production under load and how to tell it’s healthy. You know what it takes to build a performant web app that feels great to work with, because you did it a couple of times already. You can confidently contribute to both back-end and front-end layers of the app stack, although you may prefer one over the other. You know common software and microservice design patterns and have applied them in your designs. You produce readable, well documented and tested code. You can have a funded technical discussion and back your opinions by facts and data. You are a team player.
In particular, we’d like you to have the following:
- Proven experience in developing cloud services (3+ years)
- Proven experience in developing complex front-ends or SPAs (3+ years)
- Solid experience with the following back-end technologies: Node.js, Typescript, relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Hands-on experience in some front-end framework (Angular preferred)
- Experience with Docker, software containerization and microservices architectures
- Strong command of English – verbal & written (we’re an international team)
- Experience with automated testing frameworks both for backend and frontend
- Agile mindset and experience in methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
