Job Description

Google is seeking a Software Engineer III for its Corp Eng team in Hyderabad. This role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions crucial to Google's internal operations. Responsibilities include writing product/system development code, participating in design reviews, conducting code reviews, contributing to documentation, and resolving product/system issues. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of software development experience, familiarity with data structures and algorithms, and a strong understanding of software engineering best practices. The role offers opportunities to work on diverse projects and contribute to a fast-paced, evolving technological landscape within Google's internal infrastructure.

Must have:

2+ years software development experience
Data structures and algorithms expertise
Code development, review, and debugging
Design review participation
Documentation contribution

Good to have:

Master's/PhD in CS or related field
Experience with accessible technologies

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

Write product or system development code.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
