Responsibilities

The Global Payment team provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on platforms including TikTok. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Internships aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Internships aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. It runs for 12 weeks. • Develop high-quality software design and architecture for global payment systems;
• Identify, prioritise and execute tasks in the software development life cycle;
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code;
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting;
• Review and debug code; Perform validation and verification testing;
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to fix and improve our products;
• Document development phases and monitor systems;
• Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate/Master in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline.
• Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general purpose programming languages
• Strong communication and excellent teamwork skills; flexible and be a self-starter.
• Agile, quick self learner, highly self-motivated with strong sense of product ownership and creative problem solver;
• Good collaborator and team player, comfortable working in a fast moving, culturally diverse and globally distributed team environment.
• Must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time work period during Summer

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant internship experience with hands-on exposure to the tech stack
• Graduating December 2025 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
