Solutions Developer

Kforce is seeking a Senior Solutions Developer for a hybrid role in Saint Petersburg, FL. This position involves building advanced solutions on a platform, integrating external systems, and defining best practices for scalable development. The role requires strong coding experience, data expertise, and understanding of operational business processes, with a focus on technical innovation and mentoring junior developers. It starts as a contractor role and transitions to a permanent full-time position.

Must Have

• Quickly master the Platform's capabilities, design principles, and solution patterns
• Design and implement scalable, performant, and maintainable business applications
• Define and promote best practices for solution design, development, and architecture on the Platform
• Develop integrations with external API-enabled systems
• Lead efforts in data modeling, data flows, and architectural data planning for solutions
• Build reusable components and utilities to streamline future application development
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Review and optimize platform-based solutions to ensure high quality and alignment with business goals
• Mentor and provide technical support to mid-level developers
• Strong software development skills (e.g., JavaScript, Python)
• Proven ability to solve complex technical and architectural challenges
• Strong leadership in setting development standards and guiding technical direction
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Strong background in data, including data modeling, data transformation, and architectural data design
• Expertise in relational databases and SQL
• Experience with designing and implementing API integrations (REST, webhooks, etc)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, security best practices, and performance optimization
