Job Summary

The Engineering Manager will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for leading and mentoring multidisciplinary engineering teams, championing innovation, managing technical projects, ensuring compliance, and collaborating across departments to optimize production and quality outcomes.

Must Have

  • Leading and mentoring multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver world-class cooling products.
  • Managing Project Engineering, Design, Quality Control and Planning teams.
  • Championing innovation, automation, and continuous improvement across design and manufacturing.
  • Managing technical projects, R&D initiatives, and process development to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with AS9100, safety, and quality standards.
  • Collaborating across departments to optimise production, procurement, and quality outcomes.
  • Taking an active role in driving process alignment and developing meaningful connections with team members in both PWR Australia and PWR North America.
  • A relevant qualification in mechanical engineering.
  • Proven experience in senior engineering or manufacturing leadership roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge in product design, process development, and automation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced CAD and computer skills.
  • Advanced consultation and negotiation skills as well as commercial acumen.

Job Description:

As our new engineering manager you will be a key member of our local senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver world-class cooling products. You will be responsible for managing Project Engineering, Design, Quality Control and Planning teams.
  • Champion innovation, automation, and continuous improvement across design and manufacturing.
  • Manage technical projects, R&D initiatives, and process development to enhance performance and efficiency.
