The Senior Director, Finance Transformation Lead will drive a major transformation to build an agile, insights-driven finance function, partnering strategically with the business. This role involves leading large-scale initiatives to integrate advanced technologies, adopt data strategies, enhance efficiency, ensure business continuity, and elevate finance's strategic impact. It requires finance expertise, digital fluency, strategic thinking, and change leadership, with a strong foundation in finance operations, technology, and data/systems transformation to deliver measurable business outcomes in a complex, global environment.
Must have:
  • Partner with finance leadership to shape long-term vision and strategy.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive transformation roadmap with clear priorities, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities in process automation, system optimization, AI/ML, data governance, and advanced analytics.
  • Lead complex transformation programs from design through implementation and sustainment.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and external partners, establishing governance frameworks.
  • Mitigate transformation-related risks, including operational disruption, by embedding continuity planning.
  • Redesign finance processes, systems, and tools using best practices and advanced technologies.
  • Drive the transition toward standardized, global processes and centralized operations.
  • Serve as the finance technology and data lead, overseeing finance system architecture, selection, implementation, and optimization.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and consistency to support accurate reporting and insights.
  • Build and lead a transformation-focused team with strong technology, data, and project delivery skills.
  • Manage matrixed finance systems, data, and reporting teams to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Mentor finance professionals in innovation, transformation, and change leadership.
  • Partner with IT, HR, Operations, and Business Units to align and integrate initiatives.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and digital adoption within finance.

The Senior Director, Finance Transformation Lead will be a key driver of this change, leading large-scale initiatives to integrate advanced technologies and systems, adopt data strategies, enhance efficiency, ensure business continuity, and elevate the strategic impact of the finance organization.

This high-impact role requires a unique blend of finance expertise, digital fluency, strategic thinking and change leadership. The ideal candidate will bring a great foundation in finance operations and technology, deep experience in data and systems transformation, and the ability to deliver measurable business outcomes in a complex, global environment.

Responsibilities:

Strategy, Roadmap and Program Management

  • Partner with finance leadership to shape long-term vision and strategy, developing and implementing a comprehensive transformation roadmap with clear priorities, milestones, business continuity planning, and KPIs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities in process automation, system optimization, AI/ML, data governance, and advanced analytics to future-proof finance capabilities.
  • Lead complex transformation programs from design through implementation and sustainment.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and external partners, establishing governance frameworks to ensure accountability and delivery on time and budget.
  • Mitigate transformation-related risks—including operational disruption—by embedding continuity planning and ensuring activities meet regulatory and internal control standards.

Technology, Data and Process Optimization

  • Redesign finance processes, systems and tools using best practices and advanced technologies.
  • Drive the transition toward standardized, global processes and centralized operations where appropriate.
  • Serve as the finance technology and data lead, overseeing finance system architecture, selection, implementation and optimization across key financial and analytics tools.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance and consistency to support accurate reporting and insights.

Talent & Team Development

  • Build and lead a transformation-focused team with strong technology, data, and project delivery skills.
  • Manage matrixed finance systems, data, and reporting teams to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the organization.
  • Mentor finance professionals in innovation, transformation and change leadership.

Change Management & Collaboration

  • Partner with IT, HR, Operations, and Business Units to align and integrate initiatives.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and digital adoption within finance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
  • 15+ years in finance or transformation leadership roles, with 8–10 leading digital finance initiatives, global system implementations, and best-practice adoption across processes and platform.
  • Experience in Big 4 or top-tier consulting firm required.
  • Proven success in the implementation of process redesign, shared services, and large-scale technology deployments.
  • Deep knowledge of financial principles, finance technology, data platforms, and control frameworks.
  • Experience in gaming or entertainment industries a plus.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$237,500 - $356,300 USD
