Job Description

This role requires a Sr. Engineer with 3-12 years of experience in Automotive Product Engineering Design. Key responsibilities include designing and developing steering system and front axle components, understanding complete layout and kinematics, and supporting system-level packaging and integration. The candidate will also interact with suppliers for design finalization, support proto, validation, and SOP, and perform root cause analysis based on field feedback. Essential knowledge areas include CV industry, DMU, basic homologation, Bus, MLCV, HCV segments, DFM, DFA, DFS, and hands-on experience with CATIA and Teamcenter.

Must have:

Knowledge of CV industry
Knowledge of DMU
Basic homologation understanding
Knowledge of Bus, MLCV, HCV segment
DFM, DFA, DFS knowledge
Handson with CATIA
Temcentre knowledge
Collaboration with COEs. Steering & front axle CATIA V5.
Design and develop steering system & front axle components.
Complete layout, Kinematics understanding.
Support system level packaging and integration with other aggregates.
Supplier interaction for design finalization.
Support to Proto, validation & SOP.
Knowledge of automotive standards and validation procedures.
Root cause analysis and design changes based on field feedback.
