This role involves mechanical design and development for sheet metal, casting, and fabrication structures. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining BOMs, drawings with GD&T, tolerance stack up, and tooling feasibility. You will also be utilizing Creo Simulation and Creo Programming for skeleton modelling and surfacing, as well as 2D/3D CAD preparation and detail engineering using Creo and AutoCAD. Other key responsibilities include managing design change requests, selecting materials, conducting manufacturing and feasibility reviews, mentoring peers, communicating with cross-functional teams, and potentially traveling for project needs. This role requires a strong understanding of sheet metal, casting, metallic materials, and GD&T, as well as hands-on experience with Creo software, PDM windchill, and AutoCAD.
