Job Description

A Bachelor’s or Higher Degree is the minimum entry required for this position. The role involves mandatory experience in Oracle RAC, Dataguard (12C & 19C), providing 24/7 support, and managing various database operations including user queries, backups, performance tuning, and maintenance. The position is based in Navi Mumbai, Belapur.

Must have:

Experience in Oracle RAC, Dataguard - 12 C & 19 C is mandatory.
Educational Qualification – BE/B.Tech (any branch)/ MCA
Work Location - Navi Mumbai, Belapur
24/ 7 Support Environment
Must have EPFO service history records with supporting documents for past 5 years.
Resolving User related queries in Production and Test Databases.
Creating new users and assigning profiles in production databases.
User management and maintenance of all database users.
Logical backup using Export-Import and Data Pump utility.
Database bug-patching on requirement.
Creating SQL tuning sets and SQL tuning advisory reports using OEM 12C.
Executing weekly analyzer on database for performance improvement.
Monthly purging activity to gain database level space improvement.
Archival activity for performance improvement.
Performance monitoring, Database installation and configuration.
Schedule RMAN backup and monitor RMAN status of all production databases.
Interface proactively with other Infrastructure support teams.
Document issues and associated resolutions to problems.
Prepare documentation and presentation of progress reports to customers.
Conduct user’s, customer’s and Team’s training.
Guide/Mentor the team members on technical problems.
Ensure that Systems, Organization processes, & Unit practices adhere to Organization policies.
Active participation in Organization and Unit level initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities –

As per client request creating new users and assigning profiles in production databases.
User management and maintenance of all database users like granting a subset of privileges as per client’s policy.
Logical backup using Export-Import and Data Pump utility as per user request.
Database bug-patching on requirement Creating Sql tuning sets and sql tuning advisory reports using OEM 12C for Improving performance of the database.
Executing weekly analyzer on database for performance improvement.
Monthly purging activity to gain database level space improvement Archival activity for performance improvement.
