Job Description

As a Senior Salesforce Engineer in our Engineering Revenue Platform division, you will design, build, and optimize scalable, integrated solutions powering our Sales and Customer Success (CS) technology stack. You’ll ensure seamless platform integration and peak performance, with a strong emphasis on backend and data-driven solutions. You will lead AI initiatives, mentor engineers, and shape the future of revenue platforms, simplifying systems and managing customer, sales, and support lifecycles.

  • Identify and resolve blockers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Evaluate and adopt new tools, processes, and systems to keep our revenue technology stack at the forefront.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

As a Senior Salesforce Engineer in our Engineering Revenue Platform division, you will design, build, and optimize scalable, integrated solutions powering our Sales and Customer Success (CS) technology stack. You’ll ensure seamless platform integration and peak performance, with a strong emphasis on backend and data-driven solutions.

In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities, architect solutions, and implement enhancements that improve efficiency, scalability, and business outcomes. With a focus on future-ready solutions, you will lead AI initiatives and lead your team in learning and building AI applications. You’ll also mentor engineers, provide technical leadership, and help shape the future of our revenue platforms in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will simplify and reinvent systems, processes, and tools playing a critical role in ensuring our systems are robust, integrated, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives. You will leverage your deep knowledge of Sales and Customer Success domains and tools to build end-to-end solutions that manage the customer, sales, and support lifecycles including lead-to-close, renewals, licensing, account provisioning, and integrations with Salesforce and connected applications.

You will work with a team of talented engineers responsible for driving improvements, defining technical initiatives to drive excellence and bring thought leadership to manage availability, latency and performance of our mission critical tools, services across Sales, Customer Success, and Finance technologies.

You’ll train and mentor team members, identify and resolve impediments, oversee the integrity of software estimations, and ensure that code and tests meet high standards while keeping scalability, reliability, and maintainability in mind.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for revenue platforms, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Dive into backend development to align implementations with best practices
  • Oversee the health, performance, and integration of Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and related systems across Sales, Customer Success, and Finance including but not limited to: Catalyst, Gong, Outreach, Snowflake, and Workato
  • Lead initiatives to enhance system performance, scalability, and stability by providing high quality support and maintenance
  • Drive adoption of best practices in automation, web services, test automation, and cloud-native delivery
  • Guide technical direction, mentor engineers, and support professional development across the team
  • Partner with Product, Sales, CS, and Finance teams to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions
  • Align engineering priorities with strategic company objectives
  • Ensure accuracy in software estimations and adherence to performance, reliability, and security standards

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of Salesforce development experience, specializing in integration and workflow automation across Sales, Customer Success, and Finance technology stacks. Skilled in workflow automation and integration tools such as Workato and experienced in integrating with third-party packages and services
  • Expert-level proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Good understanding of Salesforce AI ecosystem including Agentforce 3 and AI agents
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce ecosystem (CPQ) and related technologies; hands-on experience with APEX and configuration tools like Flows. Salesforce certification is a plus
  • Strong grasp of Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and CI/CD pipeline management including Gearset and Gitlab
  • Proven track record in designing and delivering scalable, reliable, stable and secure backend solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in financial services or B2B platforms is a plus

Working Conditions

The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
