As a Senior Engineer in the Marketing Platform Automation division, you’ll lead the engineering efforts driving our Marketing technology stack. You’ll ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across these platforms, with a strong focus on back-end and data-driven solutions. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our systems are robust, integrated, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with leadership skills, driving impactful change in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
You will work with a team of talented engineers responsible for developing and maintaining automation solutions for our Marketing technologies. You’ll train and mentor team members, identify and resolve impediments, oversee the integrity of software estimations, and ensure that code and tests meet high standards while keeping scalability, reliability, and maintainability in mind.
This is a backend-focused role, leveraging your strong background in Java, Python, workflow automation solutions (ex: Workato), web services (REST/OpenAPI), messaging frameworks (Kafka), data platforms (Snowflake), cloud technologies (AWS/GCP), and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker) to build innovative solutions. You’ll use your strong knowledge of B2B Marketing business domains and tools to build complete solutions in marketing automation. You’ll ensure your team masters their discrete business domains, maintaining ownership and accountability for their deliverables. You oversee the development of strong test automation suites, aligning with automated build & CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native delivery.
Your ability to collaborate with product management, provide leadership across multiple locations, set high standards for the team, and hire, train, and retain exceptional talent is foundational to your success. You’ll solicit feedback, engage others with empathy, inspire creative thinking, and help foster a culture of belonging, teamwork, and purpose.
Your responsibilities span across the Marketing as well as Sales & Customer Success Platform, each of which are cross-functional teams consisting of product management, product ownership, and engineers who are responsible for our core Revenue Technology stack.
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
