We are looking for a Staff Data Infrastructure Engineer to lead design, architecture and implementation of the next generation of data infrastructure and platform to enable our partners and employees across the company to find actionable, high quality insights more efficiently, predictably and sustainably.
This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, Utah.

What will I need to thrive in this role?
8+ years of experience in data infrastructure and / or backend software engineering.
Solid experience working with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and EMR to build and manage scalable data infrastructures. While familiarity with data tools like Snowflake and / or Databricks is a plus
Hands-on experience with data processing engines like Spark is highly desirable.
Strong software engineering skills, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in one or more languages like Python, GoLang, Java, Ruby, or C++.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, take initiative, and collaborate effectively across teams.
Proven leadership abilities and a proactive, "can-do" attitude in managing projects and delivering high-quality results.

What does success look like in the first 30, 60, 90 days?
First 30 Days:
In the first 30 days, you will become fully acquainted with the company’s data infrastructure, tools, and workflows. You’ll establish relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and pain points. During this time, you’ll also begin identifying areas where immediate improvements can reduce friction or inefficiencies in the data pipeline.
First 60 Days:
By the 60-day mark, you’ll be actively contributing to infrastructure projects, coding daily, and addressing key challenges in data systems. You’ll collaborate with teams to design solutions that improve data accessibility and system reliability, while also leading smaller initiatives aimed at enhancing operations across departments.
First 90 Days:
At 90 days, you will have delivered significant improvements to the data infrastructure, making it more accessible and efficient for the organization. You’ll have taken ownership of major projects and driven them toward successful completion. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in mentoring team members and setting the groundwork for long-term scalability and innovation in the data infrastructure.
